According to an exclusive report by OSEN on January 10, T.O.P will participate in an interview on January 15 regarding the Netflix series Squid Game 2. Netflix confirmed that T.O.P would meet with reporters at a café in Seoul for the interview. Insiders revealed that T.O.P had been deeply contemplating whether to do the interview, ultimately making the difficult decision recently.
Since the release of “Squid Game 2”, T.O.P has received polarized reactions both domestically and internationally. While some criticize him for his “bad acting”, in some countries he has established himself as one of the most beloved characters.
Additionally, opinions about T.O.P also seem to polarize, with international fans noting that T.O.P’s past scandals were nothing compared to previous controversies of other cast members, with one even being charged of underage prostitution.

However, it seems that T.O.P has been excluded from the promotional activities for “Squid Game 2”, as since the announcement of his role in “Squid Game 2” last year, T.O.P has refrained from participating in official events like press conferences, seemingly due to public criticism.
T.O.P’s controversies stem from a 2016 incident where he was charged with smoking marijuana at his residence. He was sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years.
